My name is Vani Agrawal and I am a Grade 11 student at The Riverside school, Ahmedabad.
I have started this campaign with Prabhat that helps specially abled or ‘differently abled’ children, coming from the poorer parts of the world, to enable themselves to become independent to lead a life like all of us do. All they need is a little love, warmth and care.
I remember going to Prabhat when I was younger. One day I met this amazing girl, Kinjal. Kinjal was a massively vibrant person and every time I talked to her, not only did I see a smile on her face, but also felt this bright light inside of me. To me she was not specially abled instead she was special. All she needed was a little extra guidance to do the same exact things all of us, as humans, did.
All these children need is INR 12,500 a year, to become self dependant. My goal is to reach INR 25,000 to help a child for 2 years.
Thus, I am campaigning for several of these children, just like Kinjal who need the extra bit that we have. It’s now our turn to take part in this and help make the future easier for children around us.
