My name is Parisha and I am a Grade 10 student at The Riverside school, Ahmedabad.

I have started this campaign with the simple goal of bring smiles to the faces of children and young adults with special needs who cannot afford required treatment. These people are frequently sneered at because of their condition, making it burdensome to fit into the norms of the society. To overcome their challenges all they require is support, skill – training and therapy. These simple things could bring a humungous change in their life helping them metamorphose into more independent individuals.
I was glad to come in contact with the NGO Prabhat whose aim is to serve children and adults with mental and physical challenges, helping them to achieve their full potential. Finding out that INR 12,500 can fund the transformation of one child for a whole year encouraged me to do this even more. It would be amazing if you could fund my campaign because just one step of kindness can create a huge ripple effect.
As an individual, my goal is to collect Rupees 25,000 and help transform the lives of two individuals. Once this campaign is completed Prabhat Education Foundation will give feedback on the beneficiaries. In cases where the parents are not comfortable with sharing the images of their son/daughter, we will use an AVATAR. I hope you understand the sensitivity in sharing that information.
